Setup Guide - Step by Step
Installing m-Vision via "Active Sync" from your PC.

1. Ensure your Pocket PC meets the minimum requirements for installation and click on the 'Install' button above. You will be prompted with a warning to ensure you have ActiveSync enabled. Click 'Next' to continue.

   

2. You will be presented with a Windows Media Player Controller welcome screen. This will install Windows Media Player Controller to your Pocket PC device. Click 'Yes' to continue.

   

3. You will be presented with the Windows Media Player Controller 'End User License Agreement'. You must read and accept this before continuing.

   

4. You will be presented with the Windows Media Player Controller setup. Click 'Next' to continue.

   

5. You will be prompted as to where you would like to install Windows Media Player Controller on your Pocket PC. It is recommended to install to the default location.

   

   Click 'Finish' to complete setup.

6. You will now be able to install Windows Media Player Controller. Click 'Ok' to continue.

   

7. You will be prompted as to where you would like to install Windows Media Player Controller.

   IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT install to Storage Card. It is strongly recommended to install to the default application install directory.

   Click 'Yes' to begin installation.

   

8. Once you have successfully installed Windows Media Player Controller you will be prompted to install m-Vision. Click 'Next' to continue.

   

9. This is the m-Vision readme file. It contains the current m-Vision version number. Click 'Next' to continue.

   

10. You will be presented with the m-Vision 'End User License Agreement'. You must read and accept this before continuing.

    

11. You now have the option of where you wish to install the m-Vision application. The default location is Main Memory.

    

    IMPORTANT NOTE:- It is highly recommended you install to an available Storage Card. To change the location, select 'No' and specify 'Storage Card' from the drop down menu. Click 'ok' to continue.

12. m-Vision will begin installation. This may take a few minutes. Click 'Finish' when installation is successful.

    

13. You will be presented with the m-Vision activation page on your Pocket PC device.

14. Once the files have been installed the m-Vision activation screen will appear. If you have not used m-Vision before you will need to select new member, if you are reinstalling the application and already have a username, please select existing member.

    If you do not wish to register immediately you can select "come back later" and register at a later time.

15. The new member activation screen allows you to create your m-Vision username. Here you will also need to fill in your personal details.

    NOTE: Please ensure that you keep a record of your username, as this may be required further down the track.

16. Once you have created your m-Vision account you should see the following screen.

    Hit next to continue.

17. The content preferences page lets you select what content you want to receive. When you first install the software you will need to select "Sample Content". If you wish to change your selection further down the track don't worry, you can always do this from the options menu on the m-Vision Playlist screen.

    Once you have completed you selection hit submit.

18. You will know that the installation and setup is successful when you see this screen.

    From here all you need to do is click the launch button to start m-Vision.

19. The first piece of content you should see when the application is launched is the introductory video. This will take you though the all the m-Vision features and show you examples of what you will be seeing.

20. Once the m-Vision intro video has finished you will be asked to select how you wish to receive content. This can be changed at any stage by utilizing the options menu on the Playlist screen.

21. For people who wish to utilize their home or work PC internet connection, it is recommended that you select manual as this will allow you to update you content whilst the PPC is sitting in its cradle.

    For those of you who want to receive new content automatically, auto update will utilize your GPRS, Wi-Fi, 3G and CDMA connections to download content.

22. If you selected the manual option you can update your content immediately by selecting 'update now'.

23. Now your ready to go! Select the content you wish to see from the list and hit play.

    And remember to update your content regularly to receive the latest m-Vision Content.
