Setup Guide - Step by Step Install m-Vision via "ActiveSync" to your Pocket PC
m-Vision is your mobile portal to quality video entertainment anytime, anywhere. These instructions will take you through installing m-Vision via Microsoft's ActiveSync software.
If your Pocket PC device is not already connected to your PC via ActiveSync, please refer to the PPC user manual or visit www.microsoft.com for more information.
Click the 'Download m-Vision for Pocket PC' button above. You will now be asked whether you would like to open the file or save it to your computer. It is reccommended you select 'Open'. You will know the installation has begun when you see the screen below appear on your Desktop PC.
After clicking next you will be asked to read the GoTrek Software License agreement as well as the m-Vision Service Terms and Conditions. Please ensure you read both parts of the document thoroughly. Once you have read the agreement select "I accept" to continue the installation.
The installation will ask you if you wish to install to the default location. At this stage it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you click NO and install the application to your storage card. The m-Vision software can be installed to the default location but depending on the amount of memory your device has, you may experience problems.
After selecting NO to "install to the default location" you will be asked where you wish to install the software. Again we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you install the software to your storage card by clicking the drop down box and selecting storage card. (Note: Please ensure that your storage card is inserted into your PPC device)
After clicking OK the application will begin installing to your PPC device.
Once this has completed, you will be prompted to refer to your PPC device and continue the installation and registration from there. You will know that the installation has been successful, when the purple m-Vision Screen appears on your PPC device.
Once the files have been installed the m-Vision activation screen will appear. Click on "existing member".
To continue, enter your username and password and hit the OK button.
NOTE: Please ensure that you keep a record of your username and password, as this may be required further down the track.
The introductory video will launch itself. This will take you through the features of m-Vision.
Now you're ready to start viewing m-Vision content. To update content select Update Now from the Menu, or click the yellow up arrow.
